What is a regular clean?
A regular clean — the weekly or fortnightly domestic clean — maintains a home that's already in reasonable condition. It covers the visible, high-use surfaces: kitchen worktops and hob, sinks, toilets, baths and showers, dusting, vacuuming and mopping, mirrors and bins. Some tasks rotate (inside the microwave one week, the fridge the next). It's designed to be done in two to four hours and to keep things ticking over.
What is a deep clean?
A deep clean resets a home. It goes into, under and behind everything: inside the oven and extractor, inside cupboards, behind and under appliances and furniture, limescale off every tap and tile, grout scrubbed, skirting boards, door frames, light fittings, switches, radiators, internal windows and blinds. It takes a team most of a day and uses professional equipment — steam cleaners, degreasers, extraction machines.

Signs you need a deep clean first
